Africa 10 x 10

I’ve recently took my tenth trip to Africa. Rarely returning to the same places, I’ve now visited almost half of Africa’s 54 countries. This last trip took me to: São Tomé, Gabon, Angola, The Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), The Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique and Malawi. I encountered landscapes of unfathomable beauty and was surrounded by the warm, strong African spirit– one that is deeply entrenched in community. This spirit continuously rises above the circumstances resulting from corrupt and incompetent governments that hinder economic development and deprive local populations the capacity to create significant change. This series was shot over several weeks of traveling around these ten countries.
