I’m a big fan of Vitsœ and their Dieter Rams-designed shelving system. On my most recent project for the UK brand, I spent the day in the new downtown studio of Ethan Barber. For the past decade, Ethan has been photographing NYC—returning to familiar places and finding new ways to interpret the same neighborhoods. His nostalgic images transport me back to my early days in New York.
