Interior designer Muriel Brandolini created a Henri Rousseau–inspired treehouse in Southampton, NY — a dreamlike space I loved photographing for The Greats issue. I’ve long admired Muriel’s work, and it was such a joy to collaborate on this project. Jean-François Lesage brought Rousseau’s jungle scenes to life in intricate beaded embroidery, reimagined to withstand the elements of this fantastical retreat.
