I spent a wonderful day with Katie Couric at her East Hampton, NY home. Katie’s home is filled with family heirlooms and memorabilia from an extraordinary journalism career—a beautiful reflection of a remarkable life. But the best part was Katie herself! She had us laughing all day with her self-deprecating humor, brilliant stories, ease and pure joy. Her gratitude for all she’s created and experienced makes her completely magnetic. None of us wanted to leave when it was time for her to catch her Jitney (yes, Jitney!) back to the city.
